Solution Sales Executive
BK Engineering
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve assigned revenue and growth targets. • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities within assigned territories or market segments. • Build and maintain strong relationships with public safety agencies, government organizations, system integrators, dealers, channel partners, and end users. • Present and demonstrate BK Technologies solution and product capabilities. • Partner with BK Technologies radio sales representatives and account teams to identify, develop, and close solution opportunities that complement radio system sales and expand customer value. • Collaborate with radio sales personnel throughout the sales cycle to support customer discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, and successful closure of solution opportunities. • Manage the complete sales cycle including prospecting, needs assessment, proposal development, demonstrations, negotiation, and closing. • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools and provide accurate forecasting. • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, public safety events, and customer meetings. • Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive offerings, public safety communications technologies, and emerging solution opportunities. • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to identify new market opportunities and customer requirements. • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas and performance objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, Communications, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in technology, software, public safety communications, telecommunications, SaaS, or related solution-based sales environments.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
- Experience with consultative or complex solution sales methodologies.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.
- Ability to travel up to 50–75% as required.
- Large territory sales management experience.

Role Description The Account Executive, Captive Solutions is responsible for originating and developing new business opportunities through the delivery of customized alternative risk and captive insurance solutions. This role focuses on advising mid-to-large, complex clients on when and how captive structures and other alternative risk strategies can optimize their risk financing approach. - Serves as a consultative advisor, business developer, and relationship manager. - Works closely with brokers to identify opportunities where captive and alternative risk solutions can create measurable value. - Translates complex risk and financing concepts into clear narratives for senior decision-makers. - Primarily focused on broker development, opportunity generation, and consultative selling. Qualifications - Proven success in a client-facing and/or Broker development business development role within insurance, risk management, or related advisory environments. - Demonstrated understanding of captive insurance and alternative risk solutions desired, but not required. - Strong understanding of commercial casualty insurance coverages, including Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile Liability. - Knowledge of loss-sensitive insurance programs, large deductible programs, retrospective rating plans, self-insurance structures, or alternative risk financing strategies is preferred. - Strong consultative skills with the ability to assess client needs and develop tailored, value-driven solutions. - Demonstrated experience presenting to senior executives and Boards of Directors, with confidence and executive presence. - Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear, practical manner aligned to business outcomes. - Track record of building relationships with brokers and decision-makers within mid-to-large organizations. - Ability to influence without direct authority while working through broker-led client relationships. - Skilled at educating and guiding both clients and internal partners on solution applicability and value. - Strong organizational, analytical, and project management capabilities. - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or industry designations (e.g., CPCU, ARM) are a plus.
