• Design, develop and enhance enterprise solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse and the Microsoft Power Platform. • Deliver new application capabilities, workflow automation and business process improvements aligned to customer requirements. • Develop and maintain custom plugins, integrations, workflows and Power Platform components. • Contribute to solution architecture discussions and technical design decisions. • Identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, maintainability and supportability across the application estate. • Participate in technical design workshops and collaborate with functional consultants, architects and customer stakeholders. • Lead the technical implementation of approved change requests and enhancement initiatives. • Analyse existing functionality and recommend improvements to user experience, process efficiency and operational effectiveness. • Refactor and optimise existing solution components to reduce technical debt and improve long-term maintainability. • Support the introduction of new Microsoft capabilities and platform features where appropriate. • Contribute to the ongoing evolution and modernisation of the solution architecture. • Develop and maintain Dynamics 365 CE customisations, Dataverse solutions, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate solutions, Custom integrations, and more. • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with Microsoft best practices. • Maintain appropriate development standards, documentation and coding practices. • Work closely with Azure Integration Engineers to deliver and maintain end-to-end business processes spanning Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Azure services. • Contribute to the design and troubleshooting of integrations involving Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, and others. • Support root cause analysis of complex cross-platform issues affecting business-critical processes. • Support solution deployment and release activities using Azure DevOps. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to development quality standards. • Promote automation and repeatable deployment practices. • Collaborate with testing resources to ensure solutions are fully validated prior to release. • Contribute to CI/CD improvements and application lifecycle management practices. • Act as a senior technical resource within the delivery team. • Provide expert analysis and resolution of complex application issues and defects where deep product knowledge is required. • Participate in major incident investigations and root cause analysis activities. • Support knowledge sharing and mentoring within the wider engineering team.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience developing custom plugins and integrations using C# and Microsoft best practices.
- Experience delivering enhancements and new functionality within enterprise application environments.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps and modern ALM practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure integration technologies.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps or Azure SQL.
- Experience working within complex, integrated Microsoft application estates.
