• Build and update client websites in our custom CMS • Enter and format web copy without breaking layout • Add, remove, and rearrange site components (heroes, testimonials, forms, service blocks) • Handle image editing — cropping, resizing, compressing for web • Install tracking (GTM containers, GA4 codes) and do basic Search Console checks • Test links, forms, and buttons before and after publishing, across browsers and devices • Follow SOPs and know when to escalate versus fix independently

Job Requirements

  • CMS experience (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or Duda all show the right aptitude)
  • Comfort with Canva, Photoshop, or GIMP
  • Basic on-page SEO awareness — title tags, meta descriptions, header hierarchy
  • Sharp eye for what's broken — spacing, overlaps, formatting inconsistencies
  • Comfortable with async work and task tracking tools (Jira, Asana, Trello)
  • You ask clarifying questions instead of guessing on ambiguous requests

Role Description The People Group is currently seeking a highly skilled and tech savvy Executive Assistant with Marketing and Bookkeeping or Finance experience to join our talent pool on a freelance basis. In this role, you will provide high level administrative and operational support to founders and senior leaders while assisting with marketing initiatives, CRM management, bookkeeping and financial administration.
