Director, National Medicaid – South Central Regional Accounts
Galderma
• Lead Medicaid strategy on a national level and manage small key regional payer accounts • Ensure favorable formulary status overseeing all aspects of payer engagement and negotiations • Actively monitor payer, IDN, policy, competitor, market conditions, and contract performance via payer segmentation • Engage with key decision makers on clinical effectiveness, formulary, health and technology assessments • Demonstrate the value of Galderma’s products through pharmacoeconomic models, outcomes tools, etc. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and pull through market access strategies
Job Requirements
- Master’s, PharmD, MBA degree + 5 years – OR – Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of prior experience in the biotech / pharma / payer industry
- Prior experience working with Medicaid Pools, payers, national and/or regional health plans, state and local governments, and/or PBMs
- Demonstrated strategic influencing, communication, cross-functional, and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated track record of account planning, business planning, unstructured problem solving, and contracting skills
- Strong understanding of the US payer and channel landscape, as well as market access models
- Technical proficiency of U.S. drug reimbursement and access (e.g., coverage, coding and payment)
- Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
