Job Summary: The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of a core part of the company’s financial reporting. This role manages all of the accounting functions, maintains internal controls, and partners with Capital Markets, Treasury, Operations, and IT. Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for precision and leadership? We’re looking for a Controller to join our team and oversee all accounting for our growing global factoring business. How You Will Make an Impact: Lead financial reporting and ensure US GAAP compliance Oversee accounting for purchased receivables, including settlements and collections, as well as credit line and foreign currency hedges Collaborate with Operations and IT to optimize existing processes, controls, and reports associated with the factoring platform and data flows from the platform into the accounting system Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning for potential platform and accounting system transformations Report to CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Seamlessly partner with other stakeholders internally What You Bring to the Team: Compensation Package: The base salary range for this position is $150,000 – $210,000 per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company and employee performance. We are committed to transparent and competitive pay practices. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s in accounting or finance (CPA preferred)
- 10+ years of accounting experience, including leadership roles
- Background in factoring, asset-based lending, or financial services
- Prior experience in a high-growth or fast-paced environment owned by PE or VC
- Process improvement or systems implementation experience
- Fund accounting
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
