Assistant Controller

• Provides high level support to several Controllers by assisting with various client related financial tasks and responsibilities • Contributes to financial analysis, developing KPIs, maintaining reporting dashboards, researching industry-specific benchmarks • Reviews and approves various tax forms, reconciles tax returns, coordinates with external auditors and tax advisors • Assists in implementing accounting-related changes, participates in group meetings, and handles other assigned duties and special ad hoc projects as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 7 years relevant accounting experience
  • Minimum 1 year of CPA firm or outsourced accounting experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • High degree of computer literacy, including extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
  • Strong QuickBooks Online experience required
  • Experience with third-party applications is preferred, such as: Bill.com, TPI, Tallie, Team Work and budgeting & forecasting applications
  • Willingness to expand knowledge of new technology and applications
