• Lead our Quality Assurance function and ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions. • Oversee both manual and automated testing teams. • Establish testing strategies and standards. • Partner with product and engineering leaders to embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle. • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of QA Analysts. • Define career paths and provide coaching, training, and professional development. • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that prioritizes quality and accountability. • Define and implement the QA strategy, aligning with organizational and product goals. • Establish QA standards, processes, and metrics for manual, automated, performance, and security testing. • Ensure appropriate test coverage across functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing. • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and Business Analysts to ensure clear requirements and acceptance criteria. • Advocate for quality across the organization by influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong expertise in QA methodologies, test strategy, and best practices across manual and automated testing.
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking, test management, and automation tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent advanced education (preferred).
  • ISTQB Advanced, CSTE, or equivalent QA certification (preferred).
  • Experience with performance, security, and compliance testing (preferred).
  • Background in SaaS, cloud-based, or enterprise-scale application environments (preferred).

In this role, you will lead the quality strategy for the Portuguese (Brazil) locale, ensuring consistent guideline application, coaching Quality Control Reviewers, and maintaining high-quality standards across a variety of AI training tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your expertise in language quality, AI data annotation, and people leadership while helping improve the next generation of AI systems. - Lead and support a team of approximately 10 Quality Control Reviewers, ensuring consistent quality standards across the Portuguese (Brazil) locale. - Review reviewer feedback, audit quality, and ensure alignment with project guidelines. - Act as the primary quality point of contact for the Portuguese (Brazil) locale, resolving quality questions and escalating complex issues when necessary. - Conduct calibration sessions and provide structured coaching to improve reviewer performance. - Monitor quality trends, identify risks, and proactively address performance gaps. - Support the onboarding and development of new Quality Control Reviewers. - Collaborate with global Quality Teams to improve processes, documentation, and quality consistency across AI training tasks.
