Compounding Pharmacy Technician – Nights

• Clean, calibrate, and maintain non-sterile compounding equipment and designated workspaces. • Assist with staging raw materials and managing non-sterile compounding inventory. • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. • Participate in site-specific training, ongoing competency assessments, and annual revalidation. • Maintain proper documentation, including batch records, ingredient logs, and cleaning logs. • Follow USP and requirements and ensure compliance with state and federal laws. • Compound non-sterile medications (tablets, solutions, suspensions, gummy formulations, etc.) following prescription orders and site SOPs upon completion of certification.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio
  • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; prior experience in hospital or compounding settings preferred.
  • Familiarity with USP and standards and non-sterile compounding processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, documentation, and record-keeping.
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance in a regulated environment.
  • Organized, dependable, and collaborative team player.
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality standards.
