Role Description This role requires a clinical aptitude to support clients in the growing Formulary Management Services (FMS) business segment, including identification and quantification of opportunities to maximize pharmaceutical rebate revenues and evaluation of these opportunities via financial therapeutic class models using client-specific actual claims data. Primary Responsibilities: - Deliver value to clients through consultations and presentations that focus on formulary strategies to help clients achieve clinical and financial goals. - Apply clinical and business knowledge to execute financial models to identify formulary strategies yielding payor cost-savings, which will require you to: - Evaluate client formularies and UM criteria. - Read and understand client contracts and pharma contracts. - Access and use pricing databases, formulary databases, billing databases, claims databases. - Run, develop, and analyze client utilization and spending reports. - Develop & present client-facing materials that are clear, concise, and effective; must be able to simplify complex subjects without compromising content. - Work cross-functionally to understand end-to-end operations, and manage deliverables, expectations and timelines with internal and external partners. - Contribute to team business objectives. - Use soft skills to build and foster relationships with internal and external partners. - Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned therapeutic class strategies. - Actively pursue continuous quality and process improvement in self and work tasks. - Up to 10% travel may be required. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in three or more of the following: - Client management or client-facing role. - Formulary operations, strategy, development. - Clinical operations (P&T, UMs, pipeline). - Pharmacy plan design or new client implementation. - Pharma manufacturer discounts contracting, billing, or modeling. - Health plan/PBM financial modeling experience. Requirements - 5+ years of experience in a client-facing role. - 3+ years of clinical experience (e.g Pharmacist, Nurse, physician). - Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to deal comfortably with ambiguity, uncertainty and risk, and can make high-quality decisions with less than perfect information. - Ability to change course quickly in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to demonstrate resourcefulness, and have the ability to innovate and problem-solve with initiative and ingenuity. • Assists the pharmacist in collecting clinical and other patient information and maintaining appropriate records as required by regulation and policy. • Utilizes pharmacy technology effectively to prepare medication orders for dispensing, performs calculations as necessary, and compounds medications for accurate compounding as appropriate to practice site, in accordance with state law, policies, procedures, and protocols. • Accurately fills and maintains medication supplies including verifying and monitoring controlled substance inventories to ensure security, accuracy, cost effectiveness, and 340B/Charging management as required to practice site. • Communicates with caregivers regarding responsibilities, identified concerns, and participates in quality and patient safety initiatives.

• Perform a variety of duties, including performing extensive literature review for the development of criteria for management of the pharmacy benefit • Administer the pharmacy benefit in conjunction with the Health Plan Pharmacy Customer Service team • Deliver continuous, high quality member care while maximizing member satisfaction and managing appropriate utilization • Act as a liaison between the Health Plan and its customers with respect to pharmaceutical benefits • Perform medical necessity reviews for formulary exceptions and prior authorizations according to specified timelines • Suggest improvements and changes to perpetually improve operations

Role Description The Senior Informaticist solves complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. You will work with analytics, IT, and teams across the organization to improve CenterWell programs and assets by analyzing the customer journey. You will work assignments involving moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. You will report to the Director of Informatics. The CenterWell Experience team supports the corporate initiative of enhancing the customer and associate experience across CenterWell segments. This team works with analytics, operations, finance, and digital teams to identify friction points and provide end-to-end visibility to how our customers work with our touchpoints and operations. You will use your experience of data, modeling, optimization, and reporting tools. You will apply disciplined analytics to assess behavior and improve programs and products to maximize revenue growth and patient and associate experience. You will use advanced or predictive modeling to develop and test cases that improve the outcomes and quality of the programs we offer. You will contribute to more approaches to analytical models as you build knowledge of the business context in which you operate. You will begin to influence the department's strategy and make decisions on issues regarding the technical approach for project components, working without direction and exercising considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments. Key responsibilities of the Senior Informaticist include: - Identify unique insights and solve complex challenges using a variety of data sources. - Provide reporting, analytics solutions, and data science with the objective of optimizing performance and improving member experience. - Build and present story-driven presentations based on analytics. - Support complex process improvement and metrics development, contributing to the strategic direction of experience data and reporting. - Have a foundation in data architecture and reporting. - Be creative and anticipate next steps in large projects. - Manage projects, activities, and processes while collaborating with adjacent informatics and data science teams to experience reporting strategy and outcomes. - Manage requests from team members and partners and set realistic expectations. - Analyze the cause behind data trends and anomalies, turning insights into clear, data-driven recommendations. - Uncover data anomalies, discover business insights, and identify opportunities through statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques. - Develop presentations around insights and tell compelling stories with the data, delivering to members at all levels: strategic, tactical, operational, and across departments: marketing, operations, finance, etc. - Communicate findings, orally and visually, in a way that can be easily understood by business counterparts. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of data analytics experience OR Master's degree and 3+ years of experience. - Experience with data mining, predictive modeling techniques, and using data to guide outcomes and decisions. - Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations. - Advanced experience using SQL to analyze complex datasets, owning complex data analysis and transformation processes. - Advanced reporting and visualization experience, expertise in Power BI or similar reporting tools like Tableau. - Experience analyzing big and complex data sets within large organizations, including program evaluation and optimization. - Articulate and present findings to senior leadership. - Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.
