• Define and evolve the technical direction of Zocdoc’s internal developer platform, including paved roads, tooling, and shared workflows • Design and architect platform services that are secure, scalable, and intentionally easy to use • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Infrastructure leaders to align platform capabilities with real developer needs • Identify developer pain points, prioritize high-impact investments, and treat the platform as an internal product • Improve measurable developer outcomes, such as build times, deployment safety, feedback loops, and operational simplicity • Establish and track success metrics for platform adoption, developer enablement, and reliability • Guide strategic investments in platform capabilities, including responsible use of AI across the developer journey • Act as a technical multiplier by mentoring engineers, shaping shared patterns, and raising the bar for architectural quality • Ensure platform standards align with security, compliance, and reliability expectations without becoming a bottleneck • Contribute to a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement

• Collaborate with technical leadership, product managers, program/project managers, and business stakeholders to support the team as we bring advanced data capabilities to RTX • Be the system integrator for APIs, SDKs, and other automation activities: lead multi-disciplinary efforts to bring advanced AI/ML capabilities to RTX through production software and cloud engineering, including generative AI, AIOps, GenOps, MLOps, and ML-augmented engineering • Maintain both high level and low level views of technical systems, and coordinate with teams and subject matter experts from other disciplines to realize successful realization • Design, write, test, and deploy production quality software capabilities that are maintainable, automated (CI/CD), scalable, observable, organized, and readable • Ensure best practices are maintained, including quality and CI/CD automation • Advise technical support and building of user documentation • Mentor early and mid career team members, supporting their ascension to senior and lead roles

• As a Senior Platform Engineer, manage our platforms to improve business continuity, best practices and contribute to the developer experience end-to-end. • Drive modernization and platform initiatives and steward high-leverage practices (Engineering, DevEx, SRE, DevSecOps, and AI-assisted engineering). • Translate day-to-day developer needs into Golden Paths, opinionated tooling, and policy-backed workflows. • Define and steer medium and long-term architectural strategies for the platform, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability across all AWS environments. • Codify architecture into practice by delivering reference implementations and Golden Path templates for high-performance builds and standardized scaffolding. • Engineer safe delivery and reusable GitHub Actions. • Manage and optimize Kubernetes operations using Karpenter for intelligent node provisioning. • Make observability the default through OpenTelemetry and New Relic. • Raise cloud and service security, operate and propose improvements related to OAuth2/JWT and secrets lifecycle management. • Design and operate event topologies covering Kafka partitioning, compaction, retention policies, and schema evolution. • Promote the adoption of AI-assisted practices to enhance code quality, automated refactoring, automated operations, and technical documentation. • Drive cost-aware architecture through cloud computing best practices, scalability, and platform/service efficiency. • Implement governance and controls that ensure the correct management of services, security, and compliance of our platforms and technologies.
