• You'll own the fee and pricing mechanisms that determine what Upstart charges across its loan products, directly shaping what customers pay and what Upstart earns on every loan. • You'll use novel competitive and customer insight to find fee and pricing improvements, then translate them into sharper models and rules that make our rates competitive, fair, transparent, and trusted at scale. • You'll set the fee strategy and roadmap in partnership with ML, Risk, Legal/Compliance, Finance, and Engineering across multiple product lines deciding what to prioritize, why, and when, and keeping those teams aligned as priorities shift. • Ultimately, customers pay fairer, more competitive fees and Upstart grows revenue and trust because of your work.

Role Description At OnBoard, Product Managers partner with customers and cross-functional teams to discover, define, and deliver products that help boards and leadership teams make better decisions. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, AI, and Go-to-Market teams to identify and solve meaningful customer problems, deliver exceptional experiences, and drive business outcomes. - Shape and execute product strategy by contributing customer insights, market research, and data to product planning while executing against the product roadmap. - Lead customer discovery through interviews, research, and feedback to validate problems and opportunities. - Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver impactful solutions. - Define product requirements by translating customer needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities. - Use data to drive decisions by analyzing product usage, customer feedback, and market trends to measure success and inform priorities. - Deliver products end-to-end, from discovery and planning through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. - Support successful launches by partnering with Product Marketing and Go-to-Market teams on release readiness and customer adoption. - Champion the customer by representing customer needs and advocating for simple, intuitive, and valuable product experiences. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - 8-10 years of product management experience in a SaaS environment. - Experience leading products through discovery, delivery, and iteration using Agile methodologies. - Strong customer research and product discovery skills. - Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to balance competing priorities and make thoughtful tradeoffs. - Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market teams. • You will own product execution across the patient experience: how patients discover, enroll, convert, and stay in care. • You will own the instrumentation, analysis, and iteration loop that turns our first patient cohorts into durable, compounding growth. • Through launch: Launch readiness across the patient-facing experience: intake, identity verification, checkout, onboarding, and first-fill journey. • Full-funnel instrumentation and analytics: define the metrics tree (visit to intake to conversion to first fill to refill), ensure every step is measurable before day one. • Pricing, bundling, and packaging decisions in partnership with the CTO and clinical leadership. • Backlog ownership and sprint-level prioritization with our VP of Engineering, internal engineers, and our offshore development partner. • Voice of the patient: synthesize support tickets, session data, and patient feedback into roadmap inputs. • Product requirements and specs that engineers can build from without a meeting: clear problem statements, acceptance criteria, and edge cases, including the regulated ones. • Coordination with clinical, compliance, and pharmacy operations stakeholders so that product decisions respect clinical safety and regulatory constraints without grinding to a halt.

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the company's SaaS/DaaS products, including product strategy, roadmap, service quality, and customer value. • Define and maintain product requirements, service-level objectives (SLA), and quality standards to ensure reliable and consistent product performance. • Establish frameworks for measuring product quality, identifying issues, evaluating improvements, and supporting safe product releases. • Balance product performance, operational efficiency, and cost while optimizing the customer experience. • Validate new product ideas and concepts through rapid prototyping and experimentation before full-scale development. • Work closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact product initiatives from discovery to launch. • Ensure product decisions align with security, privacy, and compliance requirements, including industry standards and regulatory expectations. • Prioritize initiatives based on customer value and business impact, making data-driven decisions about feature investments and product direction. • Monitor product performance, analyze user feedback and operational metrics, and continuously improve the product experience. • Communicate product vision, priorities, and trade-offs clearly across technical and non-technical teams.
