Role Description - You will support our Chief Legal Counsel with the drafting, review, and management of a wide range of commercial contracts across the group. - You will help build out and maintain our contract management processes, including our DocuSign template automation. - You will support regulatory and compliance topics, including data protection (GDPR) and other requirements relevant to our banking and insurance partnerships. - You will assist with corporate housekeeping and legal projects tied to our ongoing group integration. - You will act as a first point of contact for routine legal questions from internal teams, translating legal considerations into clear, practical guidance. - You will liaise with external counsel and support on active legal matters. Qualifications - You have completed your First State Examination (Erstes Staatsexamen) or hold an equivalent law degree; if you are looking for your Rechtsreferendariat Wahlstation, we are happy to consider you too. - You are proactive and curious, with a genuine interest in seeing, doing, and learning. - You have a genuine interest in fintech, payments, or financial regulation – if the product itself is new to you, we're happy to teach you. - You have strong drafting and analytical skills, and enjoy translating legal detail into clear, practical guidance. - You are fluent in German and English. - PLUS: Ideally, you already have some working experience, e.g. from a law firm, an in-house legal team, or a relevant internship, and are familiar with contract management tools such as DocuSign.
