Role Description We are searching for a highly skilled Head of SE Enablement to play a key role in leading and empowering our technical go to market teams. The individual is a strategic leader responsible for building and scaling Cyera’s Sales Engineering (SE) org. This position offers an exciting chance to join a thriving organization and contribute to the forefront of data security, making a significant impact on the protection of data for numerous global enterprises. As the Head of SE Enablement, your primary duty is to design and execute the technical enablement strategy that ensures our teams can effectively differentiate Cyera’s platform, conduct deep technical discovery, deliver compelling demos, architect solutions, drive customer adoption, and support successful renewals and expansions. You will build and maintain scalable technical onboarding programs, certifications, labs, and continuous enablement frameworks that directly impact pipeline quality, win rates, time-to-value, and net retention. As part of this role, you can expect to travel between 25-30% annually, enabling you to engage directly with internal go to market teams. Responsibilities - Technical Enablement Strategy & Leadership - Build and own the long-term technical enablement strategy for SE. - Develop a scalable technical onboarding program that accelerates ramp and ensures high-quality execution from day one. - Establish technical methodology frameworks for discovery, architecture, demo excellence, and POV execution. - Program & Content Development - Create and maintain technical certifications (Foundational → Advanced). - Build hands-on labs, demo environments, and scenario-based training modules. - Partner with Product and Engineering to translate new features and capabilities into field-ready enablement. - Field Readiness & Continuous Enablement - Lead ongoing technical workshops, product deep dives, architecture sessions, and competitive training. - Ensure the field stays aligned with Cyera’s evolving product strategy, differentiation, and data security narratives. - Deliver coaching on technical storytelling, objection handling, and advanced presentation skills. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Product, PMM, Engineering, RevOps, and Sales Leadership to ensure alignment between product delivery and field execution. - Support Channel leadership in enabling partner SEs and building scalable partner technical readiness programs. - Operational Excellence & Measurement - Define KPIs and reporting mechanisms for ramp time, technical win rates, certification completion, and readiness. - Implement governance for technical content, version control, and field accessibility. - Build and manage a small team of technical trainers, specialists, and content developers as the function grows. Qualifications - 7–10+ years in Sales Engineering, Technical Enablement, Solutions Architecture, or similar technical GTM roles. - Demonstrated experience building and scaling technical enablement programs in a high-growth cybersecurity or SaaS environment. - Deep understanding of cloud, data security, DSPM, DLP, AI security, SaaS integrations, and modern security architectures. - Proven ability to build engaging technical content, labs, hands-on exercises, and certifications. - Strong technical storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts. - Experience collaborating across Product, Engineering, and GTM organizations. - Excellent presentation and facilitation skills. Compensation Information Compensation Range: $200,000-$250,000. This compensation range represents Cyera’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Cyera may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in Cyera’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Cyera’s business and other operational considerations. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements. This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
