Data Engineer – Mid-level

• Develop and maintain robust, reliable data pipelines (Python + PostgreSQL), including ingestion, transformation, and loading processes (ETL/ELT) • Model data — design and evolve relational schemas, ensuring integrity, performance, and traceability • Implement and monitor data quality routines, identifying inconsistencies, duplicates, and integrity failures before they reach analyses • Build and evolve dashboards, reports, and analytical applications in Streamlit or similar platforms — including operational, therapeutic, clinical, and outcome analyses for clients such as healthcare payers/operators • Organize and evolve the team's data architecture, aligning pipelines, repositories, and visualizations with the product-defined structure • Document business rules, indicator methodologies, and technical decisions — ensuring knowledge is not concentrated in a single person • Work closely with the product team to translate complex clinical rules into actionable analyses, models, and visualizations • Ensure data is handled in compliance with the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), especially regarding sensitive health data

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience with Python for data (pandas, automation, data manipulation)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL — relational modeling, advanced queries, optimization
  • Good practices in code version control (Git)
  • Experience with Streamlit or similar data visualization tools
  • Ability to work autonomously, document your work, and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Azure
