Role Description We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for public-sector procurement and RFI/RFP response professionals experienced in reviewing procurement documents, vendor responses, evaluation matrices, compliance materials, spreadsheets, slide decks, and presentation-ready artifacts for accuracy, rigor, clarity, and domain quality. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on public-sector procurement artifact review, RFI and RFP response evaluation, rubric-based scoring, document and spreadsheet assessment, slide deck quality review, structured feedback, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will evaluate AI-generated work products and apply subject-matter expertise to identify factual, structural, aesthetic, and presentation issues. Key Responsibilities - Public-Sector Procurement Artifact Review - Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving public-sector procurement, RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, vendor submissions, procurement planning, or bid response materials. - Review procurement content for accuracy, completeness, compliance alignment, clarity, and practical relevance. - Assess materials involving solicitation requirements, evaluation criteria, vendor qualifications, scoring frameworks, procurement timelines, and response structure. - Identify unclear language, missing compliance details, weak assumptions, incomplete response logic, or poor alignment with procurement requirements. - RFI/RFP Response Quality Evaluation - Review RFI, RFP, RFQ, and vendor response materials for responsiveness, clarity, persuasiveness, and completeness. - Evaluate whether responses address the stated requirements and reflect public-sector procurement expectations. - Assess compliance matrices, proposal outlines, evaluation rubrics, procurement summaries, and vendor comparison materials. - Provide clear written feedback that improves response quality, procurement rigor, and professional polish. - Spreadsheet, Document & Presentation Review - Review spreadsheets for structure, logic, calculations, formatting, usability, and consistency. - Assess slide decks for organization, visual clarity, executive readability, and presentation quality. - Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files. - Apply consistent review standards across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. Qualifications - 5+ years of relevant professional experience in public-sector procurement, RFI/RFP/RFQ response, government contracting, proposal evaluation, bid management, procurement consulting, or related work. - Native or professional fluency in English. - High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. - Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs. - Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail. - Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback. - Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment. Educational Background - Academic backgrounds in public administration, business, procurement, supply chain, law, policy, project management, government contracting, or related fields may be relevant. - Advanced degree from a reputable institution may be valuable. - Professional training in procurement, proposal management, contracting, public-sector compliance, or vendor evaluation may also be relevant depending on project scope. Nice to Have - Master's degree or higher in a relevant field. - Experience with public tenders, RFx response strategy, compliance matrices, evaluation scorecards, vendor comparisons, procurement summaries, or proposal review. - Familiarity with public procurement frameworks, government contracting requirements, municipal/state/federal procurement processes, or grant-funded purchasing rules. - Certifications or training such as CPPB, CPPO, NIGP-CPP, CPSM, APMP, PMP, or comparable credentials may be helpful depending on project scope. - Strong ability to evaluate both procurement substance and visual/presentation quality.
