Make a Difference The Certified Coder will be responsible for coding and abstracting for physician billing using software and coding books based on current work assignment. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. - High School Diploma or GED required. - Two (2) years of coding experience preferred. - Certified Professional Coding (CPC) certification through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) required. - Previous experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred. - This position will allow the flexibility to work remotely after the initial training period with the expectation to work on-site on an as needed basis per the needs of the hiring department.
