Role Description The Accounting Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's accounting and financial systems. This role serves as the liaison between Finance, Accounting, and Information Technology to ensure financial applications operate efficiently, securely, and accurately. - Administer and maintain accounting and financial software applications. - Configure and manage user accounts, security roles, permissions, and system access. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot application issues. - Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements. - Coordinate software upgrades, patches, testing, and system implementations. - Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and custom queries. - Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting processes by ensuring system availability and data accuracy. - Maintain chart of accounts, organizational structures, cost centers, and other financial master data. - Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and internal controls. - Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve financial workflows. - Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies. - Assist with system implementations, ERP migrations, and special finance projects. - Perform regular audits of user access and system security. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience administering ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Infor, Yardi, Sage Intacct, or similar platforms. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. - Experience with SQL, reporting tools, or business intelligence software is preferred. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
