Role Description We are seeking an experienced PLM Integration Developer to design, build, and operate integrations connecting PTC Windchill with ERP, MES, CAD, and other engineering and manufacturing systems. In this role you will own the technical integration layer between Windchill and the broader enterprise systems landscape. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on Windchill integration experience and a strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, middleware platforms, and PLM-to-ERP data flows. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - Five or more years of PLM integration experience with a strong focus on Windchill. - Hands-on experience with Info*Engine and Windchill Java API. - Experience designing PLM-to-ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle). - Working knowledge of CAD integration patterns. - Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI. - Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Windchill data model. - Experience with REST and SOAP web services. - Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Requirements - Design and develop integrations between Windchill and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud) using Info*Engine, web services, and middleware platforms. - Build CAD integrations for Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, and NX with Windchill, including check-in/check-out workflows and metadata mapping. - Develop integrations between Windchill and MES, MOM, and quality systems. - Build REST and SOAP services for Windchill data using OData, Info*Engine, or custom Java services. - Implement message-based and event-driven integrations using middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, SAP CPI). - Design and operate robust error-handling, alerting, and resubmission patterns, applying disciplined engineering practices. - Profile and optimize performance of high-volume integrations. - Lead migration efforts to retire legacy point-to-point integrations. - Collaborate with PLM, ERP, and CAD functional teams to align integrations with business processes. - Develop integration documentation, message specifications, and runbooks. - Provide hands-on post-go-live and hypercare support. - Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers. - Continuously evaluate emerging integration tools and patterns.
