Job Summary Note: This position requires you to be based in Sydney, Australia and physically present in the country for the duration of your employment. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager (Publishers/Supply) to join our Australia & New Zealand team. This role focuses on working with premium publisher partners to manage and optimize relationships within FreeWheel's products, ensuring seamless utilization of our systems and efficient execution of programmatic and IO-based deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, excellent communication skills, direct technical troubleshooting experience, and the ability to analyze and interpret data to make strategic decisions. This role is for someone with account management experience who is ready for their next step, combining a passion for client partnership with the rapidly evolving streaming and premium video landscape. Job Description Note: This position requires you to be based in Sydney, Australia and physically present in the country for the duration of your employment. Core Responsibilities - Act as a trusted expert in clients' business objectives for FreeWheel's products, partnering with premium publisher partners to ensure optimal utilization and understanding of our systems. Serves as a point of escalation for product or customer success issues. - Build and deepen relationships with key stakeholders at premium publisher partners, while identifying and engaging new contacts to support account growth. - Use product expertise and data-driven insights to design joint solutions that achieve customer objectives; contribute to and execute account plans grounded in a strong understanding of business and technical goals, and supports strategic account reviews to surface needs and growth opportunities. - Proactively and reactively troubleshoot delivery and performance issues across programmatic and IO-based deals; optimize deal setup, pacing and performance to reduce time from deal execution to transaction. - Function as a programmatic subject matter expert for internal teams and external publishers. - Provide weekly insights into supply performance to premium publisher partners, identifying trends and potential opportunities for additional yield. - Coordinate cross-functionally (e.g., product, operations, support) to ensure timely resolution of issues and successful delivery of customer objectives, maintaining a high-touch, white-glove service experience that builds trust in FreeWheel's solutions. - Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work variable schedule(s) as necessary to coordinate with global teams. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, programmatic media, or a related industry. Publisher or Broadcaster experience preferred. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - Good understanding of supply-side platforms (SSPs), ad serving technologies, and the programmatic advertising landscape. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. - Exceptional communication and relationship management skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant analytical tools. - Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, start up like environment.
