• Drive new business development by identifying, prospecting, and signing hotel partners around the world into The Guestbook's cash back rewards program • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue and tracking progress against quota • Establish strong rapport with hotel decision-makers in order to maximize profitability and increase retention of accounts • Lead the full sales cycle from outreach and discovery through contract negotiation and close • Collaborate closely with the Partner Success Team to ensure a seamless handoff and onboarding experience for newly signed hotel partners • Analyze traveler needs, current market trends in travel, and potential partnerships from an ROI perspective • Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation • Represent The Guestbook at industry tradeshows, conferences, and events to build a pipeline of new hotel partners • Seek opportunities to create integrations and strategic relationships with industry partners
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience in a quota-carrying sales role, with a demonstrated history of exceeding revenue targets
- Experience in hotel commercial and/or SaaS sales
- Proven ability to build relationships and establish credibility with hotel partners through regular communication, in-person visits, and performance reviews
- Solicit feedback and represent the voice of the hotel partner to provide input into every core product, marketing, and sales process
- Ability to work autonomously, focusing on key outcomes amidst competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Adaptable, iterative thinker who is constantly learning, curious, innovative, and confident in own ability to drive change
- Ability to recognize the need for reporting, acquire data, and produce visually appealing presentations of information applicable for internal and external use
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communicator in both client interactions and across internal teams
- Strong work ethic, self-starter, ability to drive new initiatives and self-manage. Owner mentality who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
- The company requires that from time to time, you will travel for tradeshows, conferences, and other onsite meetings related to your position as needed
