About The Opportunity Oversees inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established standards of strength, quality, and endurance. Also responsible for operating mechanical and electrical test equipment to check apparatus for conformance to standard requirements. Establishes and assures implementation of company-wide Quality programs Manages quality incident resolution process including completion of root cause analyses, calculation of total cost of quality, implementation of corrective actions, and communication to key stakeholders Addresses Quality concerns and operational improvement opportunities working with key stakeholders and implementing corrective actions Manages the external/internal audit processes and supports site Quality representative responsible for executing any needed corrective action to address audit deficiencies Provides guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the Quality function, working closely with direct reports Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications Education & Experience Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree desired Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience required Relevant experience will include experience with food safety Experience with SQF standards is a plus HACCP experience or certifications strongly preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and site Knowledge of the existing and planned approaches and methods for manufacturing products or product components Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility Knowledge of and experience with effectively managing changes to the production environment and process Knowledge of and ability to identify a problem and use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution Physical Requirements & Work Environment Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting Frequent walking and standing required Occasional travel required Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. The expected salary range for this position is $67,594 - $84,493 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short and Long term disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays. Job Requirements

  • This is a 2nd shift position, with working hours of 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, Monday through Thursday.

  • Implements and maintains overarching Quality framework, which utilizes assessment, training, and monitoring techniques to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations, and independent agency standards
