• Design end-to-end quality strategies and define long-term technical guidelines for projects; • Architect, validate and evolve complex automation frameworks and accelerators from scratch; • Lead research, adoption and governance of new technologies, working with Artificial Intelligence (such as LLMs and autonomous agents) to optimize testing; • Actively manage, build and evolve Quality Gates, test observability and automated pipelines within complex CI/CD environments; • Influence system architecture to ensure systems are testable, resilient, and designed for high reliability; • Mentor, enable, and guide the technical development of other quality engineers on the team; • Interface directly with strategic clients, translating complex engineering-quality metrics into business value and providing full transparency about system health, evolution, and reliability to the team and decision-makers.

Job Requirements

  • Solid experience in quality processes and ensuring reliability of highly complex systems (modeling, writing test scenarios, test strategies, and management reporting);
  • Strong experience building and customizing mobile test automation frameworks;
  • Experience with Appium for front-end testing and working knowledge of Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS);
  • Solid knowledge of coding best practices (Clean Code, design patterns);
  • Hands-on experience integrating quality routines into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) and using containers (Docker);
  • Experience validating directly against microservices APIs;
  • Practical experience applying AI tools to testing engineering (data generation, creation/fixing of automation scripts, or process optimization);
  • Proficiency in defining, tracking, and evolving quality metrics and in creating clear, analytical test reports;
  • Experience mentoring teams and supporting the technical development of team members;
  • Experience working directly with corporate clients and technical leadership.

Role Description As an Application Engineer, you'll be a trusted technical advisor, working directly with customers to deploy, support, and optimize industry-leading GPS/GNSS test solutions.
