• Design and build the test automation framework and the standards other engineers will follow. • Write and maintain automated tests across the stack: API, integration, and end-to-end UI. • Prioritize automation by risk and value, favoring fast, reliable API-level tests over brittle UI tests where possible. • Integrate tests into CI/CD so they run automatically on every change and give fast feedback. • Drive down flakiness and keep the suite trustworthy, so failures mean something. • Evaluate and apply AI-assisted testing tools (test generation, self-healing tests, failure triage), and use AI and prompt engineering to accelerate test creation and edge-case discovery. • Review AI-generated tests and code with a critical eye (you are the human-in-the-loop, not a rubber stamp). • Mentor other engineers on automation practices and help raise testing quality across squads

• Develop, maintain, and enhance end-to-end UI automation using Playwright and TypeScript. • Build maintainable automation following Page Object Model (POM) and reusable framework patterns. • Ensure automation supports parallel execution, browser context management, and reliable CI execution. • Maintain stable, scalable, and reusable automation for assigned business workflows. • Develop and maintain API automation using Python and pytest. • Automate REST, GraphQL, and SOAP API validation. • Create reusable fixtures, client abstractions, and parameterized test suites. • Maintain Postman and Newman collections for API smoke testing and contract validation. • Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. • Configure and maintain smoke, sanity, functional, and regression test execution. • Monitor automation quality and continuously improve execution reliability. • Design and maintain WireMock stubs for API and microservice simulation. • Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve automation productivity. • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. • Document automation solutions and maintain knowledge-sharing resources.

• Eliminate manual QA dependency and build scalable automated testing • Design and evolve test architecture and tooling that scales across services and teams • Own test strategy across services — determine what to test, where to test it, and how to maximize signal while minimizing runtime • Improve CI/CD confidence and release safety while increasing deployment velocity • Reduce regression risk through high-value test coverage rather than brute-force test expansion • Proactively detect, diagnose, and eliminate flaky or low-signal tests

• Develop, maintain, and execute test automation for Web, Mobile, API, and Data applications; • Create and evolve automation scripts using tools such as WebdriverIO, Appium, Postman, and PactumJS; • Automate tests on Android and iOS devices; • Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality with each deployment; • Identify, log, track, and manage defects using tools such as LambdaTest, Kanbanize, or similar; • Prepare test reports, track quality metrics, and monitor Quality Gates; • Configure and run tests in Device Farms; • Contribute to defining and evolving the test strategy, promoting quality across all stages of the development cycle.
