Sales Representative – Account Executive
Top Hat
• You will find, create, facilitate, and close new business opportunities in your assigned accounts • Represent and sell the full suite of Top Hat and approved partner products and services, including Top Hat’s digital textbook content and SaaS platform • Effectively position & message Top Hat’s value proposition to professors or department leaders, using a mixture of inside and outside sales techniques • You will work closely with Customer Success Managers and internal product and marketing partners to ensure a great customer experience for professors and to maximize revenue growth
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a sales role. Experience selling to professors in person on campus is highly preferred
- This role requires 40-50% (up to 75%) of your time travelling to campuses for in-person sales. A valid Driver’s License is required
- You have the sales skills, including the ability to identify, drive, and close large/complex deals, prospect effectively, and run the full sales cycle (including cold calling, demos, discovery, solution presentation, negotiation and closing)
- You are ambitious and have the drive to succeed
- You have experience working in a metrics-driven environment and remain positive when facing common objections
- You have a strong ability to interpret and apply feedback/coaching quickly

Role Description As a Senior Category Management Executive, you will support the grocery category team in managing assortment, sourcing, pricing, and promotions for the category. What You'll Do - Support the Category Manager in executing category strategies aligned with business goals. - Assist in sourcing new products and maintaining the assortment for the category. - Coordinate with suppliers to gather product details, pricing, promotional offers, and manage day-to-day communication. - Track performance of your category – including sales, pricing, and stock availability – and flag risks or opportunities. - Help plan and execute weekly and monthly promotions in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders. - Ensure accurate and timely listing of products, content, and images on the app in coordination with the content team. - Liaise with the supply chain team to support availability, smooth onboarding of new SKUs, and replenishment cycles. - Conduct market research to identify trends, new product opportunities, and benchmark pricing. - Maintain strong working relationships with key suppliers and help prepare for periodic business reviews. Qualifications - 4-5 years of experience within a retail or quick/e-commerce environment. - Strong understanding of the market in the UAE, including supplier landscape, seasonality, and quality standards. - Strong communication and coordination skills, with a strong commercial mindset. - Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time management abilities. - Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with reporting and data tools is a plus. - Strong analytical abilities and understanding of commercial KPIs and category performance metrics. - Passion for grocery retail and a strong desire to build a career in category management. - A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
