Role Description Majesco is seeking an experienced attorney to support complex SaaS and commercial transactions across a growing enterprise technology business. This role is ideal for a business-minded legal professional who enjoys serving as a strategic partner to the business while remaining deeply engaged in the details of sophisticated contract negotiation and drafting. You will work closely with leaders across sales, finance, product, operations, and executive leadership to help the company accelerate growth while managing legal and commercial risk in a practical, solution-oriented way. This is a high-visibility role offering direct business engagement, and the opportunity to influence how legal partnership scales across a growing SaaS organization. You will draft, negotiate, and execute complex commercial agreements that support Majesco’s growing SaaS business and strategic priorities. Key Responsibilities - Negotiate and structure sophisticated SaaS, software licensing, services, data privacy, vendor, procurement, and enterprise commercial agreements - Partner directly with sales and business leaders to accelerate revenue-generating opportunities while balancing legal and operational risk - Provide practical guidance on contract interpretation, liability exposure, compliance obligations, dispute mitigation, and commercial strategy - Draft agreements and manage complex negotiations with enterprise customers and vendors - Support vendor management, RFP processes, and strategic partnership activities across the organization - Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, security, compliance, product, and executive leadership teams - Contribute legal support for strategic initiatives, including financing activities, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions - Help strengthen scalable contracting processes, negotiation playbooks, and operational efficiencies as the company grows - Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with a high volume of concurrent transactions and competing priorities Qualifications - 10 plus years of experience in commercial transactions, technology law, or SaaS contracting within an in-house legal department, sophisticated boutique practice, or partner-track law firm environment - Experience in the insurance, retirement, pension, or group benefits industry is a strong plus - Deep experience negotiating complex SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, data privacy, technology procurement, and enterprise commercial agreements - A proven ability to serve as a strategic business partner while still operating comfortably in detailed contract language and negotiation workflows - Experience supporting enterprise sales organizations and high-value customer transactions - Strong working knowledge of data privacy, intellectual property, licensing, and technology risk concepts - Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, including the ability to independently create and revise agreements - Strong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and drive alignment across functions - Excellent prioritization and organizational skills in high-volume environments - J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar Benefits - Annual base salary range: $160,000 - $190,000 - Comprehensive employee benefits package with most coverage starting on day 1 - Medical, dental & vision insurance - Employer-funded HSA coordinating with a high-deductible health plan - FSA - Short-term/long-term disability - Life/AD&D insurance - 401(k) - Flexible time off, paid sick days & 11 paid holidays - Paid parental/bonding leave - Career anniversary leave and other voluntary benefits
