• Subject Matter expert for assigned functions. • Prepares reports on data summaries, changes, and trends for use by management. Provides assessment and recommendations to management. • Resolves issues arising from internal department functions, or as brought forth by internal or external customers to assigned department. • Tracks issues to resolution within department and in partnership with other groups. • Monitors overall workflow to ensure timely completion of projects and daily work requirements. • Assists with special projects within assigned department or as part of cross-functional teams as required or assigned. • Monitors department processes and workflow to ensure overall accuracy and quality of data and work output. • Determines areas of risk as new or changed processes are implemented. • Recommends changes, updates and processes for continuous improvement in areas of expertise. • Evaluates current training methods and materials for assigned group and recommend improvements. Reviews and creates training as needed. • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business Administration related or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree

Role Description The Supply Chain Business Analyst serves as the primary analytics partner for Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Warehousing operations within a fast-growing consumer products organization. This role sits at the intersection of business operations and technology, translating complex operational requirements into scalable data and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will remain hands-on with Power BI, SQL, and cloud platforms while utilizing AI tools to accelerate business decision-making. This is a 3 to 6-month contract position. Key Responsibilities - Supply Chain Analytics & Business Intelligence - Design, develop, and maintain robust Power BI dashboards supporting Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Procurement, S&OP, Logistics, and Warehousing. - Develop standardized executive reports and KPI dashboards tracking critical operational metrics such as Forecast Accuracy, OTIF (On-Time In-Full), Inventory Turns, Fill Rate, PPV, and Carrier performance. - Business Analysis & Data Engineering Collaboration - Gather, document, and translate business requirements from Supply Chain stakeholders into Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and UAT test plans. - Act as the primary liaison between Operations and IT/Data Engineering teams to define source-to-target mappings, data transformation logic, and ETL/ELT requirements. - Perform SQL-based data analysis and assist in designing dimensional models supporting Azure-based enterprise analytics. - Data Quality, Governance, & AI-Enabled Analytics - Monitor and validate data quality across ERP, planning, and operational systems, identifying anomalies and establishing automated exception reporting. - Maintain comprehensive data dictionaries, business glossaries, and metadata documentation to support enterprise data governance. - Leverage generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot to optimize analytical workflows, compile report narratives, and draft operational documentation.
