Role Description Job Description: Digital Design (RTL) Engineer Location: Santa Clara, CA Remote work option allowed. - Minimum 10 years of strong experience in Digital design at RTL level using Verilog/System Verilog. - Experience in developing micro architectural document from requirements specifications. - Experience developing designs from scratch. - Experience applying linting and other (QC) quality checking and basic verification of designs. - Experience supporting SoC designers in integration as needed. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Desirable but not essential experience: DMA, memory controller, MIPI DSI/CSI, data and control path pipeline design, interconnect and AMBA interfaces. - Candidate with design automation, scripting experience (Python) is preferable. - Develop HW architecture from specification documents. - Take complete responsibilities including writing RTL code for IP development/RTL integration, checking the code for Lint/CDC issues, checking synthesizability and timing quality of the design, checking low power implementation, supporting verification team with debug and supporting physical design teams on timing constraints and other design topics using Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL. - Develop and execute low power design (UPF/CPF). - Design top level RTL, integration of blocks, clocks, resets, configuration registers, etc. - Knowledge of JESD204C block design and related design/verification experience (includes licensed IP & PHY from 3rd parties). - Aware of DFT concepts to be used to fix functional violation that may get introduced including DFT structures. - Carry out static checks including Lint/CDC (Spyglass), synthesis, LEC and STA. Debugging and fixing functional breaks. - Take ownership of tasks and drive tasks to closure. - Synopsys/Cadence EDA Tools (Priority: 1). - LEC (Priority: 2). - STA/Constraints (Priority: 2). Qualifications - Minimum 10 years of strong experience in Digital design at RTL level using Verilog/System Verilog. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Requirements - Experience in developing micro architectural document from requirements specifications. - Experience developing designs from scratch. - Experience applying linting and other (QC) quality checking and basic verification of designs. - Experience supporting SoC designers in integration as needed. • Architect, implement, and optimize enterprise WLAN solutions including site surveys (passive/active/predictive) • Design and support broader network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN) • Diagnose and resolve complex wireless issues including RF interference, roaming problems, coverage gaps, and client connectivity • Lead client-facing engagements, delivering wireless assessments, RF reports, heatmaps, and project presentations • Drive wireless network and security projects in collaboration with global teams and vendors, ensuring successful delivery in mission-critical environments
• Manage, troubleshoot, and optimize a range of network technologies, including Cisco and Nexus switches, Meraki, Palo Alto, and Check Point firewalls, physical and virtual F5 load balancers, and Cisco SAN switches. • Ensure network reliability, security, and performance while contributing to documentation and process improvement initiatives. • Quickly assess and resolve network-related incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence. • Perform firmware updates, patches, and upgrades across all network devices. • Monitor network health and performance, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively. • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical diagrams. • Provide timely updates and clear communication to stakeholders during incidents and maintenance activities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services. • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 network support when needed.
• Generate, review, redline, and revise technical network documents including design documents, systems engineering plans, and program deliverables. • Validate network designs against requirements, standards, and industry best practices. • Conduct rigorous quality assurance reviews for network modernization and refresh projects. • Collaborate with network engineers and architects to ensure documentation reflects actual configurations, baselines, and system behaviors. • Review and validate network configuration templates, implementation plans, and engineering specifications. • Assess and document network infrastructure requirements for new and existing systems in complex DoD environments. • Ensure full compliance with DoD standards, customer-specific documentation regulations, and program requirements. • Maintain configuration management standards and documentation records. • Create and update SOPs, TTPs, and technical knowledge articles. • Prepare technical documentation packages in response to engineering data calls. • Review security-related documentation such as patch plans, IAVA compliance reports, and vulnerability assessments. • Validate accuracy of network diagrams, topology maps, and infrastructure inventories. • Participate in design reviews, offering technical insights to strengthen network architectures. • Support program management teams with documentation for deliverable reviews and customer briefings. • Mentor junior engineers on quality assurance best practices and documentation standards. • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accountability and attention to detail.
