Game Designer – Playable Ads

Moon Active

• Design levels for top performing playable ads for leading games, to excite, engage, and bring new players to download our games. • Research and develop innovative game mechanics for playable ads. • Work closely with game developers and provide constructive feedback on playable ad mechanics and experience. • Analyze performance data to optimize game mechanics and conversions. • Collaborate with the game design team with improving our content pipeline and processes. • Stay current on mobile game advertising trends and best practices. • Support and collaborate with the team from a level design perspective (Production, QA, Art, Game Design, etc).

Job Requirements

  • Product management role experience in the casual gaming space, or 2+ years of experience designing levels and game mechanics for casual mobile games.
  • Strong passion for gaming, particularly with regards to casual mobile games.
  • Positive and creative mind with a passion for the level design craft (showcased with a relevant work portfolio).
  • Solid grasp of game design methodologies and up-to-date knowledge of the casual audience, casual game markets and player motivations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate feedback and design ideas.
  • Strong self-driven work ethic and ability to work effectively in an agile team environment.
  • Ability to incorporate feedback from your team into your work and use it to learn and grow in your role.
