Videographer

Semester At Sea / ISE

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts and storyboards that share, engage, and immerse the viewer in the Semester at Sea experience • Capture and manage 4K video footage in the field using professional-grade cameras and equipment to produce video content specific to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms • Record and edit clean, professional audio for video projects using industry-standard equipment with speed and accuracy • Set up and use professional lighting to appropriately illuminate subjects and enhance overall video quality • Review footage, make editorial decisions, rough cuts, audio adjustment, color grading and correction, and final editing using Adobe Premiere CC, After Effects CC, and/or Adobe Media Encoder CC • Capture, edit, and export still images using Adobe Lightroom • Co-manage, supervise, and support shipboard student assistants (4-5) and student scholars (4-5) in fulfilling financial aid and scholarship requirements, which include: creating voyage content, assisting with production, and ensuring alignment with brand standards and fulfillment of financial aid and scholarship requirements • Demonstrate adaptability and cultural awareness by delivering results while working across time zones, cultures, and in a flexible travel or shipboard environment • Communicate regularly with the home office and shipboard supervisor to gather event details, stay informed on shipboard climate, and capture timely content about current happenings

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in video or film production or the equivalent (4-5 years of related professional experience in videography, editing, or photography)
  • 1-2 years of professional experience creating video content that supports brand goals and client needs, focusing on professional platforms rather than personal influencer accounts
  • Digital portfolio or website demonstrating advanced videography with high-quality lighting and audio elements, including projects formatted for various platforms
  • Experience shooting with professional photo and video cameras, lighting equipment, lavalier wireless microphones, zoom audio recorders, and boom mics
  • Equipped with a reliable kit of professional videography gear, including a high-performance laptop capable of editing 4K footage,
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, and Lightroom) on PC and Mac
  • Understanding of Semester at Sea® and a desire to creatively express the value of the program through visual media
  • Valid U.S. work authorization
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport and required visas, as well as any vaccinations as directed by a health care provider or required by the program.

Videographer Location: Lakewood, CO Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (RMCAD) is seeking a full-time Videographer at our vibrant campus in Lakewood, Colorado. This will be a hybrid position, with a minimum of 2 days per week on campus plus event attendance, with occasional night or weekend availability. The videographer will be an accomplished visual storyteller, communicator, and collaborator. This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing and work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to plan, coordinate, shoot, and edit videos for the RMCAD website, social media, advertising, admissions, and events. It will also require occasional photography work and will serve as a backup to the primary RMCAD Photographer as needed. The Multimedia Producer creates compelling video and visual storytelling that builds awareness of RMCAD, supports marketing and admissions initiatives, and enhances the student experience by authentically communicating the value of an RMCAD education.
