Role Description Infosys is seeking an Associate Practice Engagement Manager for its Cloud and Infrastructure Services Practice. The Associate Practice Engagement Manager (APEM) is responsible for all client interfaces within the assigned account scope. The APEM works together with their manager (PEM/Senior PEM) to build an account plan and is responsible for client management based on the account plan. - Client relationship management and business development: - Manage client relationships, build a portfolio, own the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close. - Drive the sales strategy for data and analytics services, and identify and pursue new business opportunities in a specific vertical. - Develop and maintain a robust pipeline at any given point in time, collaborating closely with vertical sales teams and engaging directly with clients. - Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique business challenges and requirements. Present tailored solutions that align with their strategic objectives, effectively demonstrating the value proposition of our data and analytics services. - Client delivery assurance: - Work closely with internal teams, including delivery, consulting, CTO Organization, marketing, and analytics team, to ensure alignment between client expectations and service offerings. - Collaborate with technology providers and partners to enhance our service capabilities and address client needs comprehensively. - Account planning and governance: - Create the account plan including relationships required, opportunities to be pursued, price decisions, etc. - Performance Tracking: - Monitor sales performance metrics, such as revenue attainment and pipeline growth, bottom-line performance and provide regular updates to senior management. - Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize sales effectiveness and efficiency. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 7+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience. - Experience in Cloud Sales doing App modernization, Data Modernization and Cloud Foundation, Platform engineering. - Significant business development and project management experience. - Track record of interacting and building relationships with CXO level client contacts. - Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations. - Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. - Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience. - Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply.
