SMB Account Executive

• New Business Development • Identity and target potential clients within the assigned territory to generate new business opportunities • Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies, including networking, attending industry events, and leveraging digital marketing tools • Conduct thorough research to understand the IT and cybersecurity needs of prospects and tailor solutions to meet those needs • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and manage the sales process from initial contract to closing • Strategic Sales • Engage with key decision makers to understand their business challenges and present tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts, to develop comprehensive proposals that address client needs • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of our solutions • Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction • Market Analysis and Reporting • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our solutions • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior management • Utilize CRM tools to track and manage sales activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records • Collaboration and Teamwork • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of technology sales
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the Managed IT Services or Cybersecurity industry
- Strong understanding of IT solutions, including managed services, cloud computing, and cybersecurity
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-maker
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Current valid driver’s license

Role Description Self-storage is one of the fastest growing sectors of the retail sales industry. StorageMart is the largest independent provider of self-storage for business and domestic customers in Canada, the United States, and the U.K. Responsible for answering and taking phone calls, as trained, in any current and future queues that they have been trained for. • Own and consistently meet or exceed an assigned MidMarket revenue quota for the Iceland and EMEA territory, with a proven track record of closing SMB and Mid Market deals • Execute a territory strategy focused on net-new logo acquisition and land-and-expand growth within strategic MidMarket accounts • Generate a significant portion of pipeline through outbound prospecting, executive outreach, and targeted account-based strategies, while effectively managing inbound demand • Lead and manage complex, multi-threaded MidMarket sales cycles, navigating procurement, legal, security, and executive decision-makers • Create urgency and momentum by tying solutions to measurable business outcomes, including operational efficiency, compliance, scalability, and ROI • Position value-based solutions that drive tangible results and accelerate time to value for customers • Build, qualify, and maintain a robust, self-sourced pipeline aligned to MidMarket growth targets • Forecast accurately and consistently, managing opportunities through defined sales stages with disciplined deal inspection • Drive deal progression by establishing clear next steps, mutual action plans, and executive alignment • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder decision processes and remove blockers to close • Lead land-and-expand strategies within MidMarket accounts, identifying opportunities for additional sites, locations, use cases, and cross-sell/upsell expansion • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to expand footprint, support renewals, and drive long-term account growth • Maintain executive relationships to unlock incremental budget and expansion opportunities over time • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Services, and Customer Success to drive coordinated MidMarket account strategies • Align sales execution with onboarding, delivery, and customer success outcomes to ensure successful deployments and expansion • Engage and influence stakeholders across operations, manufacturing, IT, quality, procurement, and executive leadership • Lead high-impact discovery sessions, executive presentations, demos, and onsite meetings as required
