Required) Referral Fee: AMS Standard Fee Agreement Applies Overview Our distinguished law firm client is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Finance Attorney to join its growing practice. This fully remote opportunity offers attorneys the ability to work on sophisticated commercial real estate finance transactions for lenders, borrowers, developers, investors, and financial institutions across the country. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience handling commercial real estate finance matters, including secured lending transactions, acquisition financing, development financing, loan originations, loan modifications, and related real estate finance matters. Key Responsibilities - Represent lenders, borrowers, developers, investors, and financial institutions in commercial real estate finance transactions. - Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents, including loan agreements, promissory notes, mortgages, deeds of trust, guaranties, and related financing documents. - Manage commercial real estate lending transactions from inception through closing. - Conduct and review due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, organizational, and borrower-related matters. - Review title commitments, title policies, surveys, and other real estate due diligence materials. - Coordinate transaction closings and post-closing matters. - Advise clients on commercial real estate finance issues and secured lending transactions. - Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, and other transaction participants to negotiate and resolve issues. - Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of client service and responsiveness. Qualifications - J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. - Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. - Minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate finance experience. - Significant experience representing lenders, borrowers, developers, or financial institutions in commercial lending transactions. - Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. - Experience handling loan documentation and complex commercial real estate transactions. - Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions and client relationships. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong attention to detail, organization, and project management abilities. - Ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment.
