• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications and reusable UI components using React and Next.js. • Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces for digital commerce experiences. • Promote engineering best practices related to component architecture, design systems, state management, and application scalability. • Collaborate closely with Product, UX, Backend Engineering, and Platform teams to deliver end-to-end customer experiences. • Support market-specific implementations while maintaining a scalable and consistent frontend platform. • Partner with Analytics teams to implement instrumentation, A/B testing, and experimentation initiatives. • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to support release planning and continuous delivery. • Troubleshoot production issues and leverage observability tools to improve platform reliability and performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience, including 4+ years building and maintaining production applications using React.
- Strong experience developing scalable frontend applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience delivering customer-facing web applications within e-commerce, retail, or high-traffic digital environments.
- Solid understanding of component-based architecture, design systems, state management, and reusable UI components.
- Experience with responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and modern frontend architecture.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies.
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
