Pole Permitting Coordinator
Metronet
• Coordinates permitting activities based on direction from OSP Construction • Determines necessary permits, coordinates with internal and external resources and permitting entities to release passes to construction • Daily routine interaction with various agencies to obtain approvals, submit permit applications and prepare responses in a timely manner • Routine interaction with internal departments to build relationships, build business cohesion and help internal clients to expand Metronet services in the market • Manage work within defined scheduled expectations, remove roadblocks and use analytics to anticipate and avoid future roadblocks and keep projects on schedule • Apply technical and creative solutions to aid in completion of permitting acquisitions • Forecast release dates to allow construction to plan resources accordingly • Provide guidance with internal resources to assure pole applications are submitted in order and on time to meet the project schedule • Ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables, assemble, submit, and track progress of permit applications and notify management of delays with actionable solutions • Document and coordinate with centralized permit teams to ensure permit submittals is in line with the field’s construction schedule • Monitor/track permit packages via online systems, email, or in person as necessary to meet local requirements, adjust and report when situations arise • Monitor projects and effectively communicates the status of each permit • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management • Occasional travel may be required by company necessity (up to 5%)
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience with permitting in multiple states preferred
- Experience working in multidiscipline and cross-functional teams preferred
- Able to work within a team
- Organization and strong problem-solving aptitude required
- Ability to interact with all levels of organization including external agencies required
- Strong social, verbal, and written communications skills required
- Must be able to work independently, and with a team.

• Manage, organize, and collaborate with the administration team to provide safe, secure and confidential testing environments. • Extend duties beyond test coordination to helping teachers analyze data and provide training. • Manage student accountability measures such as short cycle assessments and test prep programs. • Solicit and tabulate information regarding testing materials and needs for the annual testing budget process. • Receive, inventory, organize, and disseminate state-mandated tests. • Retrieve and organize test materials for return to state testing agencies. • Prepare and arrange for shipment or pickup of testing materials to and from test sites. • Order, organize, store, and inventory school wide assessment materials as directed. • Communicate often with parents and teachers to coordinate student success in and out of classroom. • Assist with maintaining accountability of students and records. • Assist administration with data analysis and data delivery to teachers and students. • Organize standardized testing, focusing on accommodations, managing schedule for the testing, making rosters of students testing for teachers’ information. • Assist in notifying parents of upcoming testing, contacting students for various types of tests. • Establish alternate, quiet placement for students during testing hours. • Investigate possible areas for improvement with test results, working with teachers on in-classroom tactics to increase scores. • Assist with preparation and dissemination of reports to assist leadership and staff in the interpretation of performance data and school/student characteristics. • Assist with preparation of test data, School Report Card or other school data. • Other duties as assigned.
