Role Description DATAMARK, Inc. is currently seeking a professional and experienced German Bilingual Medical Interpreter to join our team. The Bilingual Medical Interpreter will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers in medical settings. - Provide verbal interpretation services to facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers - Accurately and effectively interpret medical conversations, including patient history, diagnosis, treatment options, and instructions - Assist with the translation of medical documents and forms - Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards - Stay up to date on medical terminology and procedures - Build rapport and establish trust with patients and healthcare professionals Qualifications - Fluent in both English and German (spoken and written) - Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt to different dialects and accents - Strong listening and comprehension skills - Highly professional and empathetic demeanor - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Requirements - Computer: Intel Core i5 processor (8th generation or newer) or Ryzen 5 (3000 series or higher), minimum 4 cores / 8 threads, 8–16 GB RAM, and 256 GB SSD or larger. - Connectivity: Mandatory use of a wired Ethernet connection. VPN use is not allowed, and work must be performed only from the approved location. - Audio: Wired headset with a boom microphone, unidirectional and with noise cancellation. Wireless devices, earbuds, and speaker use are not allowed. - Camera: 1080p resolution, 30–60 fps, with autofocus (built-in or equivalent external camera, such as Logitech C920). - Restrictions: It is prohibited to store company information, make recordings, take screenshots, or use built-in translation features. Role Description KPMG’s Linguistic Services team in Canada is looking to fill a Senior Translator position within its External Translation Team (client audit documents). This is a full-time permanent position based in Montreal and offered on a fully remote basis. What you will do: - Translate various financial, accounting, and legal documents from English into French (and revise them when required), including financial statements, management reports, Management Reports of Fund Performance (MRFPs), and sustainability reports. - Produce high-quality translations while meeting budget requirements and deadlines. - Actively participate in the management and delivery of large-scale projects. - Conduct research and contribute to the development and enrichment of our terminology databases. - Foster collaboration and make full use of available tools, resources, and collective expertise. - Invest in ongoing professional development, including through continuous learning and the feedback received.
