• Handle calls on demand and render the meaning of conversations between Polish and English speakers. • Respond to video and audio interpreting sessions promptly. • Participate in online, video and audio training sessions. • Deliver interpretation services via video and expediently type data. • Render correct concepts and meanings according to interpretation protocol. • Speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation and polite expressions. • Maintain a professional demeanor throughout the interpreting sessions. • Remain calm during interpreting sessions, especially in emergencies. • Follow client instructions to ensure client expectations are met with the LEP.
Job Requirements
- Fluency in Polish and English and skilled in the associated cultural dynamics.
- Ability to provide cultural competency and assess regional and accent differences.
- Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills.
- Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, remain neutral and objective at all times.
- Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred.
- Must be able to adapt to any LLS technology enhancements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and write the requested languages – highly preferred.

Role Description KPMG’s Linguistic Services team in Canada is looking to fill a Senior Translator position within its External Translation Team (client audit documents). This is a full-time permanent position based in Montreal and offered on a fully remote basis. What you will do: - Translate various financial, accounting, and legal documents from English into French (and revise them when required), including financial statements, management reports, Management Reports of Fund Performance (MRFPs), and sustainability reports. - Produce high-quality translations while meeting budget requirements and deadlines. - Actively participate in the management and delivery of large-scale projects. - Conduct research and contribute to the development and enrichment of our terminology databases. - Foster collaboration and make full use of available tools, resources, and collective expertise. - Invest in ongoing professional development, including through continuous learning and the feedback received.
