Role Description KPMG’s Linguistic Services team in Canada is looking to fill a Senior Translator position within its External Translation Team (client audit documents). This is a full-time permanent position based in Montreal and offered on a fully remote basis. What you will do: - Translate various financial, accounting, and legal documents from English into French (and revise them when required), including financial statements, management reports, Management Reports of Fund Performance (MRFPs), and sustainability reports. - Produce high-quality translations while meeting budget requirements and deadlines. - Actively participate in the management and delivery of large-scale projects. - Conduct research and contribute to the development and enrichment of our terminology databases. - Foster collaboration and make full use of available tools, resources, and collective expertise. - Invest in ongoing professional development, including through continuous learning and the feedback received. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Translation or an equivalent qualification. - Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards. - Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities. - Strong commitment to quality and client service. - Ability to manage projects from start to finish. - Exceptional attention to detail. - Excellent learning agility. - Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills. - Proficiency with standard technology tools. - Openness, honesty, and clarity in communications. - Knowledge of major translation support tools, including LogiTerm, Trados/Studio, Systran, Flowfit, and Copilot. - Member of OTTIAQ or an equivalent organization, an asset. Requirements - The successful candidate must be proficient in both English and French, as translation requests will primarily be in these languages. • Oral interpretation: from Russian to English and vice versa during confidential interviews with people deprived of liberty, ICRC institutional dissemination, ICRC dialogue with authorities, activities to establish the family links which includes delivering Red Cross messages, family tracing and visits to families of detainees. • Written translation: translation of Russian language (newspaper articles, correspondence, etc.) into written English. • Analysis and reporting as required: analysis of conditions of detention, security and other matters relating to the ICRC's mandate. • Can be asked to provide support on other protection activities as needed.

• Reporting to the Senior Director of Localization Engineering, this role is responsible for providing support internally for specialized, technical file types and processes in translation. • Respond to requests for Localization Engineering from internal customers • Advise on or test processes during client onboarding for Account Services • Attend calls with clients to serve as the technical advisor for Sales or Account Services • Collect customer requirements, whether during onboarding or quoting • Prepare quote details and files for Client Solutions • Specify the full project workflow during quoting, if needed for technical projects • Create memoQ filters for file import • Carry out internal job requests from Project Managers for orders • Integrate translations into the source files • Perform engineering checks on files to ensure their completeness and functionality • Make formatting adjustments by language, as needed • Create LQA guidance for linguists on complex projects • Document new processes at the order, client, or department level • Attend and participate in weekly departmental meetings • Work on special projects and other duties as assigned

• Adapting and validating target text to meet compliance standards. • Demonstrable experience in translating for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or biotechnology. • Ability to work within strict GxP environments and adhere to ISO 17100 quality standards.
