• Provides clinical training and support to customers, as a subject matter expert in physics, on-site and/or remotely to ensure customer is prepared to operate their equipment according to a minimum of safe and effective use guidelines and to fully utilize the complex functionality of the technology to meet their business needs. • Provides clinical applications training to customers, on-site or remotely, to ensure the customer is well prepared to operate their Varian Medical System equipment (software and/or hardware) according to a minimum of safe and effective use guidelines with the highest level of satisfaction. • Assist in managing the customer’s clinical expectations. • As available, provides competitive product performance information to headquarters, marketing, or engineering groups. • May coordinate or lead customer and/or employee training courses. • May conduct large group presentations at seminars training programs, and trade shows. • May provide demo support to local, regional, and national customer trade events. • May lead internal product meetings supporting multiple groups within Varian. • Work with cross-functional teams as necessary to support and enable best services and optimize customer relations. • Other duties and functions to support the customer or internal Varian employees as the needs arise.

• Serve as the clinical subject matter expert (SME) for product and project teams, providing guidance on clinical workflows, clinical knowledge, and best practices for clinical data • Design, build, test, and update clinical data assets that provide clinical decision support and drive clinical workflows, - ensuring their ongoing accuracy, completeness, and clinical validity over time • Translate clinical requirements into workflow and informatics/data specifications, and validate that delivered features reflect sound clinical reasoning • Analyze clinical data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement, and apply findings to enhance decision support logic and workflow automation • Review technical specifications for clinical workflow applications to provide clinical informatics input - and provide support as SME and IC for product managers leading clinical application products • Maintain and curate mappings to standardized clinical and medical vocabularies, supporting interoperability and consistency across systems • Collaborate with clinical, product, and engineering stakeholders to ensure data-driven features are safe, usable, and clinically meaningful • Partner with clinical leadership to support guideline development, clinical content governance, and quality and product enhancements • Work closely with Quality and Clinical Training/Education teams to identify areas of improvement for clinical workflows across the organization; collaboratively design and implement solutions • Other duties as assigned

• Analyze 3D Computed Tomography reconstruction for cases for BU case planning to determine measurement suitability for anatomy for BU implantation. • Provide comprehensive imaging report for case planning purposes. • Perform CT reconstructions that are beyond the scope or experience of the field team in support of case planning to optimize patient outcomes. • Responsible for tracking case planning process through multiple technical platforms in partnership with the analyst, field team, sales operations, information technology, and external stakeholders. • Train field team and/or health care providers on CT and other imaging modality acquisition and interpretation and provide guidance on case planning strategy execution. • Responsible for entering data for case planning measurements into CRM software. • Identify gaps and provide recommendations on CT acquisition process improvements. • Design and develop training content relevant to image analysis for stakeholders (e.g., field support team and/or health care professionals). • Assist in the execution of quality assurance processes and other process improvements for team members (e.g. field teams). • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with field team to review challenging cases to identify process improvement optimization.

• Provide field support for clinical research related enrollment and procedures in EP therapy area. • Serve as a technology, protocol and clinical trial procedure expert and resource for Abbott stakeholders, physicians, and research personnel at the site. • Maintain and develop a productive clinical territory: Develop and maintain knowledge of clinical sites in the assigned territory. • Manage the following aspects of study progress: Nominate, approach, and complete qualification processes including establishing site/sponsor expectations for study execution. • Facilitate contract/budget escalations as part of the start-up process. • Train facility staff regarding protocol requirements and technology. • Develop site-specific strategies to promote appropriate patient enrollment. • Identify site successes and challenges and assist in implementing troubleshooting techniques that promote study goal achievement. • Provide ongoing feedback concerning all aspects of study progress, specifically enrollment and procedure related, for the purpose of developing and implementing strategies that will optimize patient safety and contribute to organizational and corporate goals/objectives. • Provide support for all study-related aspects to research partners, including but not limited to the following aspects: protocol, standard of care, clinical trial reimbursement, etc. • Work with territory Clinical Site Leads to share best practices and develop capabilities to optimize trial data quality. • Collaborate with Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, R&D, marketing and commercial teams to support and advance key EP BU projects.
