Job Description

Technology Inventory Control Analyst

• Handle technical inventory management for desktops, laptops, hard drives, mobile devices, computer peripherals, servers, networking equipment, and other infrastructure hardware. • Track and maintain inventory levels across the enterprise, including India and the Philippines. • Plan for the procurement of assets to maintain stock levels in all locations. • Manage tracking systems and act as a liaison to other departments. • Investigate and resolve inventory inconsistencies and minimize loss by incorporating supply chain best practices. • Conduct first-level reviews of hardware requests and escalate to IT management or business management as needed. • Work with other teams to help identify standard devices for smaller scenarios. • Develop and maintain standardized asset tracking processes and documentation. • Partner with IT support teams to ensure timely deployment and recovery of equipment. • Track orders, warranties, maintenance agreements, and vendor performance. • Support internal and external audits related to IT assets and inventory controls. • Generate regular inventory and asset utilization reports. • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, tracking accuracy, and asset lifecycle management. • Assist in implementing and optimizing asset management tools and processes. • Place orders in the Ariba system for hardware needs. • Plan for disposal of retired assets. • Work with the Desktop team to assist with preparation for deployment and testing of equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business or a related field, or 3+ years of related experience.
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in an inventory role.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office technology, preferably Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of inventory software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience with enterprise asset management tools such as ServiceNow, SCCM, JAMF, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and asset governance standards.
  • Experience supporting remote workforce hardware logistics.
  • Familiarity with data center or infrastructure hardware environments.
