Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist

Role Description Build the supply chain that powers the next generation of renewable infrastructure. As Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist, you will establish the procurement function behind an innovative ClimateTech product and create scalable supplier structures for international growth. - Supplier Network: Build and develop an international supplier network for mechanical, electrical and electronic components. - Strategic Sourcing: Identify, qualify and onboard suppliers that meet technical, commercial and quality requirements. - Supplier Negotiations: Prepare and negotiate supplier contracts, pricing and commercial agreements. - Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into procurement strategies. - Supplier Management: Monitor supplier performance, delivery reliability, lead times and quality standards. - Cost Optimisation: Identify cost saving opportunities while maintaining quality and supply security. - Prototype & Scale Up: Support prototype builds and prepare procurement structures for serial production. - Process Development: Design scalable procurement processes, supplier management standards and purchasing workflows. - Cross Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with logistics, operations and external manufacturing partners to ensure resilient supply chains. Qualifications - Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Business or a comparable qualification. - Equivalent professional experience is equally welcome. - Several years of professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain management. - Experience negotiating with suppliers and building long term supplier relationships. - Technical understanding and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams. - Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills and a structured way of working. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Fluent in English; German is considered a plus. - High level of ownership with a proactive, hands on mindset. - Ideally, you also bring experience from manufacturing, industrial products, MedTech, hardware development or other technical environments. - Experience with ERP systems, startup environments or building procurement structures from scratch is a plus.
