Qualifications - J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and current bar membership in good standing. - 5+ years of experience as an immigration attorney. - 3+ years of removal defense experience, including experience preparing for and representing clients in Master Calendar and Individual Calendar Hearings. - Preferred experience with humanitarian and family-based immigration, and consular processing (e.g., VAWA; T visas; U visas; family-based petitions; nonimmigrant and immigrant visas; naturalization; waivers; RFE/NOID/NOIR responses; appeals; and motions before USCIS and immigration court). - Strong command of U.S. immigration law and related federal regulations. - Excellent analytical, legal writing, and research skills. - Exceptional organizational and project management skills. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Sound judgment and ethical decision-making in client and firm matters. - Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy, firm integrity, and continuous improvement. - Bilingual candidates are preferred, with Spanish fluency strongly preferred; additional language skills are a plus.
