Senior Premium Auditor
Harford Mutual Insurance Group
Role Description This position conducts physical on-site audits of commercial accounts to determine the appropriate classifications and exposures to be used as the basis of premium. The territory covered by this position is Pennsylvania and New Jersey. - Conduct audits on larger, more complex commercial accounts to validate the accuracy of classifications and premium bases within a defined geographical area. - Resolve complex audit disputes by reviewing the completed audit information, disputed information and giving input on outcome of dispute. - Act as a mentor and help with training of other employees. - Assist UW in identifying classification codes for new accounts as needed. - This position will require the ability to be on the road conducting physical on-site audits 50% of the time. - Interact with agents and associates to communicate and support the audit results. - Perform other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Insurance. - Minimum of five years’ premium audit related experience. - PAAS Certification or other Insurance Industry Designation. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and organizational skills. - Ability to travel 50% of the time.
