• Manage and execute the monthly financial close processes. • Ensure all journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and within established deadlines. • Prepare the monthly financial reporting package for the leadership team. • Oversee daily accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, and payroll processing. • Monitor daily cash balances, prepare cash flow projections, and optimize working capital. • Maintain a perpetual state of audit readiness by ensuring pristine documentation and highly organized financial records. • Serve as primary contact for external auditors during bi-annual audits. • Continuously evaluate finance department workflows, identifying and implementing process improvements and automations to increase efficiency. • Manage, mentor and evaluate the performance of the finance team, ensuring a high standard of work and adherence to accounting principles.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close procedures.
- Experience managing AP, AR, billing, and payroll functions.
- Prior experience supporting or leading external audits.
- Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and documentation.
