Senior Project Logistics Specialist
Westinghouse Electric Company
• Source and manage domestic and international logistics providers for all transportation modes, including truck, rail, air, ocean, warehousing, project cargo, and standard freight • Manage shipment planning data (requests, ASNs, and system-generated demand) and coordinate with teams to maintain shipment visibility and execution • Develop logistics plans aligned with PO and customer contract terms, ensuring supplier, customer, and carrier compliance while supporting safety, service, and cost goals • Prepare and verify shipping documentation and labeling to ensure compliance. • Assist the Logistics Lead and Manager with transportation budgeting, quotations, budget tracking, and variance analysis • Communicate logistics trends, market indices, best practices, and competitive solutions to guide innovation and efficiency • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Procurement to support logistics execution
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in logistics operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
