Manager, Logistics – Distribution Planning, Execution

• Own and manage site distribution planning activities to ensure warehouse networks are positioned to support installation schedules and site readiness requirements. • Translate inbound supply, supplier constraints, and inventory signals into actionable warehouse positioning plans (SKU mix, quantity, and timing). • Partner with Inventory Operations to ensure materials received and stored can be effectively staged, kitted, and converted into buildable outputs. • Coordinate and partner with warehouse teams to align staging priorities, kitting requirements, and outbound readiness. • Define and manage warehouse release strategies to sites, ensuring deliveries are properly sequenced and aligned with installation milestones. • Collaborate with Transportation teams to align shipment timing, mode selection, and routing with warehouse release plans. • Identify supply chain risks and constraints including material shortages, incomplete mixes, inventory imbalances across warehouses, and misalignment with site schedules, and drive resolution or escalate as needed. • Provide structured reporting on site readiness, buildable material availability, and warehouse output performance to stakeholders and leadership. • Drive continuous improvement of distribution planning processes to ensure scalable, reliable execution across warehouse networks and project sites.
• Design and build data models based on analytics and reporting requirements, data sources, and mapping specifications. • Develop programs and code using advanced analytics tools such as Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI to visualize data and deliver insights from complex transformation and mapping specs. • Provide technical thought leadership on BI tools and analytical concepts across analytics, reporting, and dashboard projects. • Partner with business stakeholders to deliver system projects, including planning, resource management, and deliverables. • Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues using advanced problem-solving techniques. • Provide level-of-effort estimates for new project work, enhancements, and fixes. • Support the migration of our existing data lake to a new cloud platform.
• Design, implement, and manage physical database architectures and DBMS environments • Perform database optimization, capacity planning, migrations, installations, and performance tuning • Administer and maintain Oracle databases (10g, 11g, 12c, 19c) in large multi-tenant environments • Design, build, and configure Oracle database servers across Windows, Linux, and Unix-based systems • Lead and support enterprise Oracle database migrations to newer versions (19c or higher) • Ensure database performance for enterprise applications (e.g., GIS, Java, and web-based systems) • Implement and maintain database security, auditing, and compliance controls • Support both cloud-based and on-premise database environments • Configure and manage advanced Oracle features (e.g., Data Guard, RAC, TDE, OEM) • Perform backup/recovery planning and execution • Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide expert-level support • Conduct systems analysis and contribute to technical solution design • Coordinate implementation of complex systems and assist with data refresh activities • Identify, assess, and communicate technical risks and mitigation strategies • Document technical work and ensure effective knowledge transfer

• Work with the existing electrical team on new product development designs, existing product configurations, and obsolescence issues. • Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Management within Symbotic’s PLM system. • Supervise junior engineers, drafters, and technicians to support the design, documentation, testing, and release of projects. • Support production by investigating fabrication failures, technical issues, and field failures. • Research and evaluate electro-mechanical components including cables, connectors, and sensors. • Define protocols, write test plans, and conduct testing required to validate the safety and effectiveness of designs. • Travel to customer sites to support new installations and system deployment activities.
• Deliver technical training programs for maintenance personnel, serving as a subject matter expert and partnering in the design and development of training content • Train technicians on the operation, maintenance, and repair of Symbotic automation systems and maintenance equipment • Deliver both classroom and hands-on field training focused on electrical, mechanical, PLC, robotic, and controls troubleshooting • Train site teams to diagnose and debug PLCs, robotic systems, HMIs, VFDs, and automated processes • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify ongoing technical training needs and skill gaps • Contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials, delivery methods, and technical documentation to support evolving business needs • Act as an escalation point for technical and customer-related training issues • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Symbotic products, automation systems, and operational processes • Identify opportunities to improve troubleshooting efficiency, maintenance effectiveness, and repair cost optimization • Support maintenance operations on-site as an active member of the field team when required • Travel to customer sites to support system launches, technician development, and operational readiness • Perform additional duties as assigned
• Lead the creation, modification, and management of highly complex 2D AutoCAD drawings for steel structures, automation systems, and robotic layouts. • Coordinate closely with the 3D Revit Team to ensure 2D deliverables accurately reflect 3D models, spatial constraints, and structural requirements. • Interpret engineering specifications, architectural plans, and technical documents to produce complete and accurate design packages. • Own and enforce CAD standards, quality control processes, and best practices across the design team. • Review, validate, and approve drawings created by junior designers to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance. • Identify design risks early, propose solutions, and support technical decision making for largescale projects. • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal supervision, ensuring on-time delivery of all drawing packages. • Mentor and train junior Designers in CAD techniques, standards, workflows, and project execution. • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of CAD templates, libraries, automation tools, and drafting workflows. • Ensure all drawings comply with industry codes, internal standards, and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with sales, engineering, manufacturing, installation teams, and external partners to support project success from concept through installation. • Deliver drawing packages that reduce field rework, installation delays, and engineering change orders. • Maintain drawing accuracy and consistency that supports efficient fabrication and installation. • Improve team productivity by contributing to CAD standards, reusable content, and workflow optimization. • Serve as a technical authority for 2D structural and automation layout design, influencing long-term CAD strategy, including programming language (AutoLISP; PYTHON} trends and improvements for automated creation of 2D geometry. • Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed quality benchmarks, contributing to customer satisfaction and repeat business.
