Job Description

Licensed DBT Psychologist, Adolescents and Adults – Telehealth

Lyra Health

• Provide individual DBT, multifamily skills groups, and parenting and family sessions for adolescents and their parents • Conduct individual DBT and DBT skills groups as needed for adult clients • Assign DBT-relevant digital lessons, videos, and assessments to clients to enhance learnings and monitor outcomes between sessions • Deliver culturally responsive care considering the impact of cultural backgrounds on each person’s care experience • Collaborate with colleagues in weekly consultation team meetings and one-on-one consultation meetings with an expert DBT team lead • Co-lead DBT skills groups with other DBT providers • Attend robust trainings to enhance clinical skills

Job Requirements

  • Clinicians must be PSYPACT eligible, with a preference for clinicians with current PSYPACT authorization
  • PhD/PsyD in clinical, counseling, or school psychology from an accredited graduate program
  • Formal didactic training in DBT required (e.g., in-house training with consultation team, tape review, 1:1 supervision; Behavioral Tech; DBT Foundational Training; DBT Intensive Training; DBT for Adolescents training)
  • One year minimum experience providing comprehensive DBT to adolescents and adults
  • Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends to accommodate client scheduling needs
  • DBT-LBC certification preferred but not required
  • Experience, comfort, and passion working with clients who present with high risk behaviors, including suicidal ideation and/or self-injury
  • Willingness to obtain cross-licensing in additional states as needed to support program growth
  • Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment (video and teletherapy) preferred but not required
  • Computer and live video tools literacy (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.)
