• Responsible for developing trusting relationships with Key accounts and growing those relationships to ensure maximum share of the Glaucoma and Dry Eye Disease markets. • Developing account specific strategies in accordance with AbbVie’s guidelines and values • Collaborating with the AbbVie Medical team and AbbVie Institute’s Clinical Specialist in the field to optimize product knowledge and business training acumen • Develop comprehensive and strategic business plans in order to increase market share in the glaucoma and dry eye product portfolio • Conduct regular sales reviews of business territory performance externally and internally • Execute national marketing programs collaborating with internal cross-functional teams • Identify new collaboration & growth opportunities within existing Key Accounts, as well as identify new Key Accounts • Proficiently manage overall budget & resource allocation for the territory
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science or equivalent, or MBA combination of experience and education required
- A minimum of 3 years of Sales and/or marketing/or head office operational experience
- Key Account Management experience valued
- Experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical Sales is required
- A thorough understanding of the institutional/ Key Account healthcare sector preferred
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and/or exceeding business results
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong business acumen and self-starter
- Demonstrates leadership capabilities, listening and adaptability skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Proven ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally within the company
- Candidate must be fluent in English. Both verbal and written
- Highly collaborative with a customer-centric mindset
- Able to travel up to 40% of the time
- Position requires evening/weekend work, including overnight travel.
