Senior Network Engineer – LAN

Miratech

• Interact with external customers to troubleshoot any network connectivity-related issues. • Partner closely with Network Architects and Engineers to improve data-center network environments. • Initiate multiple projects for Network Operation improvements. • Partner with internal business units to best understand the organization's needs and continuously improve and apply standards for operational excellence. • Review, analyze, and execute network change requests. • Execute, document, and develop network automation for repetitive tasks.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience working with medium-to-large enterprise networks.
  • Hands-on expertise in: Network security (Palo Alto firewalls), Load balancing (F5 or equivalent), Routing (MPLS, OSPF, BGP), Switching (Cisco Nexus 9k/7k/5k/2k).
  • Working knowledge of Cisco IOS (Nexus OS preferred).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of platform operating systems (router platforms, LAN, WAN, and router protocols), MPLS, OSPF, and BGP, and how they interact with the network.
  • Experience with datacenter networking (DC fabric, interoffice routing, site-to-site VPNs).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a data-driven approach to solving complex network issues.
  • Ability to create and maintain network documentation (diagrams, runbooks).
  • Experience with implementations of solutions involving large data centers, interoffice routing plans, site2site VPNs, FWs, IPSec, monitoring, etc., is a plus
