Job Requirements
- 18+ months’ experience in auto collision estimating using CCC
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to write precise and comprehensive estimates
- Comfortable with utilizing technology and various platforms for claims processing
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple assignments effectively
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as part of the job

• Manage a caseload of transportation bodily injury claims, including litigated and non-litigated exposures • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve trucking and transportation related claims in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements • Handle claims involving long-haul trucking, semi-trucks, and commercial transportation exposures • Review coverage, assess liability, and determine appropriate claim resolution strategies • Coordinate with defense counsel and support litigation management activities as needed • Maintain ownership of bodily injury claims and associated property damage exposures throughout the life of the claim • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the claims management system • Communicate professionally with insureds, claimants, attorneys, vendors, and internal stakeholders • Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations and company policies • Negotiate settlements and support timely claim resolution strategies • Mentor less experienced team members and assist with claims handling guidance when appropriate • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
• Primarily responsible for handling and investigating high exposure third party property damage and bodily injury claims on a multi-state basis. • Work efficiently and effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys and outside vendors to confirm coverage, determine liability and evaluate damages through timely and diligent claim investigations. • Candidates who hold multi-state licenses; at a minimum the candidate must hold a valid Texas license with the ability to quickly secure reciprocal licenses in other states. • Requires a high level of personal motivation and self-discipline and the ability to work independently with minimum amount of direct supervision. • Provide excellent customer service. • Analyze and apply coverage on both routine and complex claims. • Adjudicate claims in an expeditious and professional manner. • Set and maintain diaries. • Complete client reporting timely. • Control loss adjustment expenses, recommend and manage reserves. • Document all correspondence, reports, discussions, and decisions in the claims system. • Notify management of any situations which may affect the underlying claim.
