• Provides managerial direction, leadership, consultation project management and specialized expertise in the delivery of large, complex and highly visible major payer contracting project initiatives and negotiations • Leads activities in strategy development, contract negotiations, payer collaboration, and evaluation of financial performance • Executes managed care strategies developed jointly with Regional Health Ministries (RHM) and System Office leadership • Provides guidance to senior leaders regarding systems and processes for which they are responsible • Develops and implements strategies that incorporate business needs and requirements, industry trends and technology solutions

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Informatics or related field
  • 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible operational (management), project management or consulting experience in managed care analytics
  • Significant experience gained from health plan, health system, the healthcare industry or a provider health network is required
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage with frequent changes in departmental priorities
  • Proven customer-service orientation

Role Description The Senior Care Advisor helps assess PACE eligibility by fostering relationships with prospective participants, their family members, and their caregivers. A trusted telephonic resource, the Senior Care Advisor helps guide seniors who may qualify for the PACE program through the enrollment process with WelbeHealth. - Collaborate with market leaders, members of the clinical team, and others to get seniors all the way to enrollment. - Assist prospective participants with the Medi-Cal application process. - Answer inbound and do follow-up calls, as well as make outbound calls to online leads. The Principal, Medicaid Medical Economics & Cost Management plays a dual role: - A critical leadership role responsible for translating medical economics insight into disciplined execution across clinical, behavioral health, and pharmacy cost initiatives. - Leadership role overseeing the Medicaid Corporate Trend process from a business perspective partnering with Finance & Actuary.
