Job Description

Research Project Manager – Data Management Support

Mercy

• Manage the overall coordination, status reporting, financials, schedules and stability of project-oriented work efforts • Maintain status reports and project metrics and appropriately triage and categorize all incoming work • Interact significantly with project team members, vendors, finance personnel, and multiple functional or support departments • Share information with coworkers and encourage participation in Mercy Research activities • Provide information regarding operational, change management, and trial management strategies and opportunities • Develop, maintain and facilitate the usage of various datasets, databases and medical records systems necessary to facilitate study start-up, conduct and support • Support clinical research activities by serving as the primary resource for data acquisition, extraction, and management using standard clinical data platforms • Act as the key liaison between Mercy Technology Services, the Research - Enterprise Data and Analytics Office Value Delivery Team, and Mercy Research • Promote research data literacy by assisting with education and training initiatives • Lead communication between teams to ensure seamless collaboration and understanding across departments • Track and analyze data trends to identify opportunities for programmatic improvement • Represent Mercy Research in meetings with legal, financial, vendor, and technology teams • Facilitate exploratory meetings with investigators and VDT members to clarify study needs • Utilize Microsoft Office, project management platforms, clinical data tools, and network-approved AI solutions to enhance daily workflows

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years healthcare or clinical experience
  • Demonstrated experience through prior roles or completion of college degrees, or a combination of applicable professional and educational experiences
  • Advanced degree or Bachelor's degree with a professional certification relevant to health project management (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in business development with project management expertise in a healthcare environment (preferred)
  • Professional certification in a research or project management area (preferred)
  • Excellent communicator, both orally and in writing
  • Superior organizing and coordinating skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage complex relationships
  • Able to manage multiple, simple to moderately complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Clinical research skills, understanding, and practice experience
  • Ability to prepare and analyze research reports and proposals
  • Perform designated database management with skills
  • Self-starter who enjoys creating and innovating in a hands-on manner, adapting quickly to any situation

Role Description Looking for Philippines-based candidates Job Role: Construction Estimator / Quantity Surveyor Compensation range: $1,800 AUD - $2,200 AUD / Monthly Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. Due to continued growth, the team is seeking an experienced, detail-driven Construction Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of core estimating outputs across bespoke new builds and major renovations valued between $1.5M – $10M AUD. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders (Contract Administrators, Project Managers, and site leadership), along with leading architects and consultants, helping the business price accurately, present clearly, and make confident early-stage decisions. Key Responsibilities - Complete detailed quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and services documentation. - Build and maintain trade-based estimates (labour, materials, plant) aligned with company templates. - Prepare and issue RFQ packages, scope sheets, and tender queries to subcontractors and suppliers. - Review and level subcontractor quotes, identify scope gaps, and produce comparisons and recommendations. - Assist with value management options and alternatives (rate-based and clearly explained). - Produce accurate internal reports including cost plans, estimate summaries, allowances, exclusions, and risk notes. - Maintain and continuously improve the company price list and rate library. - Provide clear, concise responses to project teams to keep procurement and decision-making progressing efficiently. Qualifications - Minimum 5 years’ experience estimating for high-end residential and/or commercial fit-out projects. - Strong proficiency in Cubit (required) and confidence working from detailed consultant documentation sets. - High attention to detail with strong commercial judgement (scope gaps, exclusions, allowances, and risk). - Excellent written communication, able to explain pricing logic clearly and confidently. - Comfortable working remotely with a Sydney-based team. - Strong Excel skills; experience with Bluebeam, Planswift, or similar tools is beneficial. Role Description As a Staff Data Scientist for Forecasting, you will be the technical leader responsible for building and owning the sophisticated models that power Veho's Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
